Yes — completely and permanently free. Every masjid gets a hosted website, prayer hall TV display, admin dashboard, and mobile app listing at no cost. There are no premium tiers, no features locked behind paywalls, and no trial periods. What you see is what you get, forever.
How do you pay for it?
MyLocalMasjid is a personally funded project. Running costs — server hosting on AWS, app store fees for Apple and Google, domain and SSL certificates, and ongoing development — are covered by the founder and by voluntary donations from the community. We keep costs lean and reinvest everything back into the platform.
Will you ever start charging?
No. Free forever is a promise, not a marketing phrase. We believe every masjid — regardless of size or budget — deserves a proper digital presence. If costs grow, we'll seek community donations and sponsorships, never lock features behind a paywall.
Do you show ads or sell data?
Never. We don't show advertisements, we don't sell or share your data, and we don't track users for profit. Your trust is an amanah (trust) we take seriously. Our privacy policy is straightforward: we collect minimal data, only what's needed to run the service.
